Get The Last Shutdown Time

guys when did you shutdown your machine for the last time? No idea! GET IDEA and follow these steps- In XP type  eventvwr.msc  in the  Run  dialog box-Please for God sake don’t ask me how to open Run dialog box. And if you use Vista or Windows7  then type the “ Event Viewer ” in the Start Search Box. Now click on the  System  tab in the left panel. Now look for the first occurrence of event with event id  6006 . This will give us what we are searching for. So now I know the last shutdown time. It is  6:12 AM and this is not unusual for a net addicted guy. Enjoy and wait for the next post.

Install Windows xp Very Fast

Now, this tip will be very helpful for those who frequently install windows xp operating system. Normally OS installation takes around 40 minutes to complete, but through this trick you can now save 10-15 minutes. This simple tricks goes this way. 1.  Boot through Windows XP CD. 2.  After all the files are completely loaded, you get the option to select the partition. Select “c”. 3.  Now Format the partition, whether it is normal or quick with NTFS or FAT 4.  Once the formatting is completed, All the setup files required for installation are copied. Restart your system by pressing Enter. KILL PROCESS USING COMMAND PROMPT

Task Manager  is generally used to kill or end a process in Windows . This method is effective but not nearly as fun as killing a process in Command Prompt. And one more advantage of killing process using Command Prompt provides much more control and the ability to end multiple processes at once. All of this is possible with the TaskKill command. You can kill a process by the process ID (PID) or by image name (EXE filename). How to enable registry editor disabled by virus

There are many viruses which disable registry editing of your windows. And when you try to edit registry you get a message that " Registry editor has been disabled by your administrator ".
